This event is organized and presented by MEDstudio@JEFF.
MEDstudio@JEFF’s Graphic Medicine program explores how visual narratives communicate complex ideas, transcending verbal language to help build better communication for all. This first installment of MEDstudio’s Graphic Medicine with artist Tom Judd, Philabundance and Mural Arts Philadelphia investigates the way mural-making can help us understand hunger in the Delaware Valley—a problem that affects so many yet remains largely invisible and misunderstood.
With viewing of artist Tom Judd’s short film, Chalkboard Chronicles, followed by a panel discussion on extreme collaborations and mural making to promote health and wellness for all.
Panelists include Pamela Rainey Lawler, Philabundance; Laure Biron, Porch Light, Mural Arts Philadelphia; Tom Judd, artist, and others. Moderated by Peter Lloyd Jones and Trudy Anne Watt of MEDstudio@JEFF.
MEDstudio@JEFF is grateful for the support of the Jefferson University Office of the Provost, Philabundance, and Mural Arts Philadelphia.
